Market News

Crypto market news moves on a handful of things that actually matter: flows into and out of the large assets, what exchanges and issuers are doing, and the rules being written around them. Everything else is noise dressed as urgency. This is where we cover the first kind.

Our market news is organised by what it is about rather than by how excited anyone is. Bitcoin news tracks the largest asset and the flows and mining economics behind it. Ethereum news follows the network carrying most of the industry's stablecoins, lending and tokenisation. Altcoin coverage handles Solana, XRP, Cardano and the wider market, where liquidity is thinner and moves are sharper. Stablecoin coverage deals with the part of crypto most people actually transact in, and with the reserve and regulatory questions that decide whether a peg holds.

Every price-relevant story here carries our Priced at Publication stamp: the price of the asset at the moment we published, frozen permanently, shown beside the live price. It means you can read something from three months ago and see immediately what the market was doing when it was written, instead of guessing. It is a timestamp, not a prediction.

What you will not find is a buy or sell call. We report what happened, cite where we got it, and attribute any price target to whoever made it. If a story turns on a number, that number has a source and a date attached, and if we could not source it we left it out.

For live figures rather than reporting, the market table carries prices, market caps and 24-hour and 7-day moves for the top assets, and each coin page pairs a chart with a plain-English explanation of what the asset actually is. Our methodology documents every data source and refresh interval.
