Guides & Education

Most crypto explainers are written for people who already understand crypto. This section is for people who do not, and it assumes no prior knowledge without talking down to you.

It is organised as a path. Beginner guides starts at the beginning: what a blockchain actually is, what a wallet holds, what a private key means, and why "not your keys, not your coins" is a warning rather than a slogan. How to read crypto charts covers candles, volume, timeframes and the indicators you will see quoted at you — including what they cannot tell you. Trading strategies explains common approaches and is honest that most active traders underperform simply holding. Risk management is the section we would ask you to read first: position sizing, stop placement, and the arithmetic of drawdowns, which is far less forgiving than people expect.

Two things we will not do in a guide. We will not present a strategy as a way to make money — every approach has conditions where it fails, and we say what they are. And we will not skip the losses: leverage, illiquid tokens and concentrated positions have destroyed a lot of ordinary people's savings, and a guide that omits that is not educational.

We also cover the practical mechanics nobody explains until it goes wrong: how a transaction fee is set, why a transfer can be pending, what happens if you send to the wrong network, and why irreversibility is a feature that will not help you when you have made a mistake.

Once the vocabulary makes sense, our coin pages explain individual assets in the same plain terms, and the market table gives you live figures to practise reading. Nothing in this section is financial advice — it is intended to help you evaluate claims for yourself, including ours.
