Altcoins (SOL, ADA, XRP)

Altcoins are where the returns and the losses are both larger, and where the reporting is worst. Thin markets amplify moves in both directions, and a great deal of what circulates as altcoin news is promotion written to look like analysis.

Our approach is to separate the network from the token. A blockchain can be genuinely well engineered and its token still be a poor holding; a token can rise for months while almost nobody uses the thing it supposedly powers. We cover Solana, XRP, Cardano, BNB, Dogecoin, TRON and the wider market, and we try to say which of those two things a story is actually about.

Liquidity is the risk most people underestimate. A smaller asset often looks attractive on the way up precisely because thin depth exaggerates the move — and the same thinness means there may be no bid when you want out. Read our entries on liquidity and slippage before sizing a position in anything outside the largest few assets.

We do not publish token promotion. Paid placements, presales and ICO marketing are not editorial, and where we cover a project's own claims we attribute them and say what has not been demonstrated. Price targets belong to whoever made them.

Live figures for every asset we track are on the market table, and the comparison tool puts any two side by side across market cap, volume and supply — which is a better first question than the unit price. Nothing here is financial advice.

One further habit worth adopting: check how much of an asset's supply is actually circulating against how much is still scheduled to arrive. A project with a small float and a large locked allocation can look modestly valued while a great deal of dilution is still queued. Our circulating supply and max supply entries explain how to read that, and every coin page shows both figures where we can source them.
