Open campus

Open campus crypto is the next-generation project. It is a decentralized educational protocol test that helps communities and educators to create and share tokenized educational content. It is a fungible token.

That aims to transfer traditional centralized education into a more open, transparent, and community-led system test that is not controlled by governments, corporations, or censorship.

It employs the $EDU token, a digital token that powers the open campus protocol. It facilitates novel forms of collaboration, incentivizes high-quality content creation, and promotes the long-term growth of the protocol.

It allows donors to make direct and transparent contributions to educational causes through smart contract donations. That allows the donor to choose from various causes such as scholarships, grants, bounties, and sponsorship and track their donations on the chain.

It relies on a peer-review system to ensure the content is fulfilling its requirements with its rules. The validators are selected randomly from a pool of qualified EDU holders who stake their tokens to perform the validation task. It allows them to earn rewards for their work and might have to pay the penalties for misconduct.

Features of open campus

It allows educators to create their own education courses, podcast, books, and other educational content and earn from them. It also enables the students to access a wide range of quality and affordable resources for learning.

It also provides rewards to both the learner and the educators for participating in an open campus ecosystem. Also, it has a limited supply of one billion tokens.

Educational platforms involve three types of roles in it:
