This is a token value where we decide to buy something that has a price attached to it. We can decide to walk through the grocery store and find something from a retailer that has a higher price than something we would normally buy, or we can simply pay more than we normally would.

That makes sense. I guess its basically the same system that lets you buy something with an actual physical item when you have more than just a virtual one. But to play Deathloop right now, you have to buy the token with a dollar and a euro. When you play, the token has a time-stamp on it, and once you die, the time-stamp is lost forever.

The time-stamp on the token is just a number that can be transferred to other players. However, if you die and can’t transfer the time-stamp, you end up spending an hour just hanging out in the game with no ability to transfer that time-stamp to other players. That’s really frustrating. Deathloop doesn’t have any time-stamps or ability to transfer time-stamps.

I personally like the idea of time-stamps, but that’s just not what I’ve seen in the past. I’d much rather have players die for the same thing as they die for the same thing.
