So, I wrote a post about how I keep a collection of safepanda tokens that I use to help me remember passwords, phone numbers, and other things that I need to remember. For a while I kept all of the safepanda tokens and kept them in the same place. I took them off the shelf each time I needed them and stored them in a safe that I kept in my back pocket. Over time, I forgot about the safepanda tokens.

I recently found out about a safepanda token that was left for me on a shelf over a decade ago. I was hoping that I would remember the password I’d used to get it and it would have an expiration date so I could reuse it. It turns out that the token has been in the same place for over 10 years and it hasn’t had an expiration date. Needless to say, that’s kind of a bummer.

The safepanda token is one of those very rare pieces of hardware that people lose their way about. So you know it’s gone forever. However, you can always get a replacement. At least I did. I got a replacement safepanda token. It’s a nice solid silver token with a small window on the front. You can store one in your back pocket. You can even wear it on your belt. The only drawback is that the token is expensive.

Safepanda is the reason I got an Atari ST with a cartridge drive. When I bought it back in 1999, I wanted a cartridge drive for it because I had a very limited shelf life of games. So I wanted to have a very long period of time to play the games I wanted to, and so I wanted an Atari ST that was compatible with the cartridges I wanted to play. In the Atari ST days, you could only have cartridges with the ST’s cartridge slot.

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized that I don’t really care about what cartridge I have. I care about what cartridge my ST is. If I bought an ST before it was available with a cartridge slot, I didn’t care about what cartridges it came with, and I’d just play the games I wanted to. I may not have cared about cartridge compatibility, but I care about compatibility with whatever cartridges I have.

Ive been using a safepanda token for a while now, and there are some limitations to it. With the token, I could get a cartridge with the ST slot if I wanted to, but I couldnt get any of the cartridges with the ST slot. I could only get a cartridge with the ST slot if I used the token to purchase an ST, and then I had to replace the token with the new cartridge.

I have to admit I was a little disappointed with the token, but I think most people won’t mind.

I like it because it cant be used for ST cartridges. If you want a ST cartridge with the ST slot, you have to buy the cartridges with the ST slot. If you want a ST cartridge without the ST slot, you have to buy the cartridges with the ST slot. If you want to use the ST cartridge, you can buy a cartridge with the ST slot.

ST cartridges without the ST slot are also referred to as ST tokens. This token is not available for purchase. The ST slot is for ST cartridges.
