I don’t know if this title made sense when I wrote it, but I thought it would be a good way to convey this post, so here it is: megashibazilla.

After the release of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and Fallout 4, we have a lot of people who have never bought a game and are now paying for it. The game has been selling well for a few weeks and is slowly coming at the rate of a blockbuster. The game is being sold at a price point that is still reasonable to a certain segment of the audience, but it has been a long process to get there.
Bethesda was so excited by the game that they created a hype video and then spent an estimated $1 million on marketing to get people interested in the game. While this is impressive, it’s a bit misleading. A good hype video is not the same thing as paying for a game and getting it into stores. In order to get a game into stores, a hype video needs to be good quality and have a viral video-sharing site on it.
The way that hype videos are usually presented is that the video is either “bad” or “good” depending on what it’s trying to say. This is inaccurate because hype videos are usually presented with a ton of detail so that people can really be able to distinguish themselves from everyone else. So while that video that Megashibazilla put out was pretty good, it is in no way an indicator of the quality of the game coming out.
When the game is released, Megashibazilla is going to be showing a great deal of the main character’s personal life, which would be a lot of people who aren’t able to see what he’s doing and how he’s doing it. The game is coming out in the Spring of 2014, so it’s still going to be a bit of a mystery when it gets out, but it will be interesting to see how it plays out.
Right now most developers dont put out a trailer until theyve released a version of their game. To get a complete idea of the quality a game is going to have, you need to show it to a lot of people and see how they react to it. With Megashibazilla, the developers have done just that and its a bit of a disaster.
Megashibazilla is a 2D action RPG that lets you use a lot of skills during combat. All the skills you learn are essentially your own super powers. There are four classes of enemies, each with their own unique skillsets, a bunch of different armor types, and dozens of weapons to use. The big thing that sets Megashibazilla apart from its 2D competition is the soundtrack.
It would be easy to see this game as a mindless action game, but that’s not what it seems to be. Megashibazilla has more to it than just fighting a bunch of enemies. It’s an RPG of sorts.
